All content posted on the Lobby is subject to the guidelines below.
The GRCO-Hawaii team will review posts and comments on the lobby chats and any content that is found to have violated the guidelines will be removed at the moderators’ discretion.
Users who repeatedly violate the Community Guidelines will be subjected to a ban.
Any opinions or recommendations of other Christian ministries and resources shared by members are entirely personal and are by no means endorsed by the ministry.
1. Users should be based in the US
2. Be kind and respectful
We’re in this together to create a welcoming environment for all who enter our digital doors. Though we may have differing views, we seek to treat everyone with respect and kindness.
This includes communicating with language and tone that reflect our values of love, kindness, and grace. Avoid inflammatory or aggressive language that may cause offense or harm to others.
3. Discussions should be Jesus-centered and grace-focused
We have created the lobby chats to be a safe space where we can break free from everything that is happening around us and focus on Jesus. For this reason, we want our sharing on this platform to be centered around Jesus, and caring and praying for one another.
We understand that each person will often have differing views on a range of topics and we respect the personal beliefs of every individual represented by our community—from opinions and advice on politics, medical information, legal and financial matters, and many other subjects of discussion.
However, as a community, we agree to leave our differences at the door and not use the Lobby as a platform to voice our opinions and beliefs on subjects that not everyone readily agrees on, as this is not the platform for those conversations.
4. Safeguard your own privacy and the privacy of others
For your own safety, do not publicly circulate any personally identifiable information such as your email address, home address, phone number, social security number, or credit card information.
Please also exercise discretion and obtain consent before sharing others’ personal stories/testimonies. Publicly released information that may compromise your own or someone else’s safety (such as personal details, private information, photos) will be removed.
5. Reporting violations
If you encounter content that violates our guidelines or makes you feel uncomfortable, please report the post or comment to the moderators for review. Let's work together to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all members.
6. The Lobby space should not be used by GRCO-Hawaii members to organize online or in-person gatherings
Your safety is of importance to us and we seek to provide a safe environment for everyone who calls GRCO-Hawaii their church. We also encourage you to exercise wisdom in new relationships as it takes time to build a relationship of trust, and so as to guard against misinformation, scams, and people with ill intent.
7. Posts or comments containing any of the below will not be allowed on the Lobby:
Hate speech or bullying
This includes bullying of any kind and degrading comments about race, religion, culture, politics, gender, or identity.
Explicit, obscene, sexually suggestive, or offensive content

Additionally, refrain from posting content that could be construed as sexually suggestive, flirtatious, or inappropriate toward either gender.

The Lobby is not the appropriate place to have a debate about theology or the core beliefs and teachings of our ministry.
Spreading of misinformation
This is not a platform for spreading conspiracy theories, misinformation, or any kind of falsehoods.
Promotions or spam
This includes self-promotion, spam, and irrelevant links. No solicitation for donations, fundraisers, or any other forms of canvasing or campaigning are allowed.
